Dr. Shahrokh Shahverdi, DC, CCSP:

I am a graduate of Parker College of Chiropractic, class of 2000. My under graduate studies were completed at Old Dominion University with major in Exercise Physiology/Sports Medicine with minor in Religion and Philosophy. I have post doctoral certification as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician by American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians. I am a member of American Academy of Spine Physicians, American College of Sports Medicine and the American Chiropractic Association.

My practice is focused on active the lifestyles of my patients and their family. I treated your common chiropractic back and neck issues plus their sport related injuries to the extremities using the latest modalities available, i.e. Cold laser (Erchonia as used by U.S. cycling team in tour de France for the past 7-8 years), Kinesio-taping which has been used in the triathlons for years; we saw its use in the last summer Olympics, as well as in many other events. I accept over 90% of health insurances; I have weekend office hours and am available for emergencies. I carry a full-line of Nutrametrix nutritional supplements and hold monthly wellness classes at my clinic.

Dr. Carole Yared:

Dr. Carole Yared completed her undergraduate studies in the biological sciences at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. Later, Dr. Yared obtained her doctorate in chiropractic from Southern California University of Health and sciences in Whittier, California.

Dr. Yared is board certified and has been in practice for approximately ten years in Virginia. Dr. Yared practices the diversified chiropractic technique using manual adjustments to correct misalignments of the spine. She also uses the activator method.

Dr. Yared has extensive experience working with auto accident injuries, and work and sports related injuries. Dr. Yared utilizes chiropractic care in conjunction with physical therapy to eliminate pain and restore normal range of motion to the spine. Each patient will receive a specialized treatment plan including chiropractic and physical therapy along with a rehabilitation regimen to relieve and avoid future pain re-occurrences.
